Georgia L. Ezzell is a native Wilmingtonian. After leaving Wilmington to attend college, she graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a BA in English, before returning home in 2000. She enjoyed her job with the police department, but it was time for a change. After seventeen years away from academia, she entered the GLS program to work on her Master’s in Liberal Arts. Working on Palaver has been a dream come true for her. She’s married to a saint; they currently reside with two dogs and a cat.
